All the behind-the-scenes magic happens in the WebAssistant. With this application, core users create curriculum and work rules, build forms and reports, schedule training, manage resources and records, set permissions and much more. As the main MINT user interface, the WebAssistant offers the latest Java technology with interactive touch capabilities, filtering and zooming. Its unique configuration capabilities make any adjustments easy to setup and manage.
Who uses the WebAssistant?
Administrators and planners use the WebAssistant as a one-stop-shop for all of their scheduling, resource management, grading, and reporting needs.
As the main MINT application, the WebAssistant has a lot of features: FormBuilder, ReportBuilder, curriculum design, resource Gantt chart, automatic & manual scheduling, and permissions.
The WebPortal is an HTML5 based website and can be accessed with any web browser. Here, instructors, trainees, and examiners will find everything they need for electronic grading, checking reports, notifications, and their own resource schedule. For these users, the WebPortal allows them access to all the training and management elements that administrators build in the WebAssistant. For example, a planner could schedule training in the WebAssistant, publish it, and the instructor can immediately see his event assignments on his or her schedule, and see what forms he needs to sign-off on in the WebPortal.
Who uses the WebPortal?
WebPortal is primarily for trainees, instructors, and examiners. In other words, users who won’t be involved in the set-up that happens in the WebAssistant use the WebPortal.
A more streamlined interface than the WebAssistant, the WebPortal only includes the features trainees, instructors, and examiners need: electronic grading, reports, individual resource schedule view, notifications, and workflow actions.
Think of the myMINT app as a tiny, even more portable version of the WebPortal. The app automatically synchronizes the MINT training schedule and displays all event information in an easy to read format. Instructors and students don’t have to worry about missing a training assignment, and everyone is always up-to-date on when and where they need to be. The app receives and displays automatic notifications, like for example grading reminders or other notifications that relate to an action that needs to be performed, which may be requested from the individual trainee or instructor. The app also allows you to visualize reports and statistical charts that were created in MINT TMS using the Jupyter Notebook extension. Real-time data in the palm of your hand. Additionally, users can use the app for grading and signing off forms, online and offline.
Who uses the myMINT App?
Similar to the WebPortal, the app is primarily for trainees, instructors, examiners, and external customers. However, anyone with a MINT user can use the myMINT app. All you need is a smart phone (iOS or Android) and a MINT username and password.
Currently on the myMINT app, users can see their notifications, access their schedule, view statistics, and grade / sign-off forms (online & offline).
