FAA Pilot Records Database
The FAA has adopted a rule establishing an electronic Pilot Records Database (PRD) and requiring air carriers and other operators to report pilots’ employment history, training, and qualifications to that database. The FAA will maintain the database, and air carriers must submit the following pilot employment records within 30 days of creation:
- Training, Qualification, and Proficiency Records
- Drug and Alcohol Records
- Final Disciplinary Action Records
- Separation of Employment Records
MINT PRD Solution
Operators that use MINT TMS to manage their pilot’s qualification and training records can automate and streamline the data submission of “Training, Qualification, and Proficiency Records” through the MINT PRD Add-on. The Add-on* utilizes the FAA API to submit the relevant data directly to the PRD and provide a means to store and audit submissions.
Solution Benefits
Connect to FAA PRD and send required training records directly from MINT
Generate reports and audit submitted data
Training records submission process is centralized and automated, avoiding potential errors
No need to learn any new technology / programming language or study the FAA API documentation
Easily adjust the integration to meet future FAA requirements and maintain compliance
Significant time savings
