Leadership team

Jörg holds a degree in Computer Science and Economics and brings in profound knowledge in Operations Research. Prior to founding MINT, Jörg served as a consultant for airline organizations.

Wolfgang holds a degree in communications engineering and worked as Project Manager for Alcatel Germany and Lufthansa Systems before joining MINT in 2000. During the early MINT years (2000-2007), he acted as Head Of Development before transferring into an Account Manager and Sales Support role for large MINT key customer accounts. Since 2009 and until today, Wolfgang serves as the CEO of MINT Middle East, located in Dubai, UAE. Since 2017, he has been serving as the team leader for our Customer Relationship Managers, which was expanded into the Head of the MINT Customer Service Excellence Team in May 2021.

Christian is an accomplished hands-on manager and a customer-focused communicator with excellent leadership skills. Leading the introduction of the MINT’s training scheduling functions at JetBlue Airways, he has a solid understanding of our product and how it helps our customers optimize their training processes.

Nick joined MINT in August 2017 as a Key Account Project Manager and operates from our Orlando office. Nick transitioned to being MINT’s Head of Product Manager in January 2020. Prior to joining the MINT team, Nick was a Web Developer and Digital Media Manager for a Florida based startup. Nick’s aviation industry experience extends back to his time at JetBlue Airways where he was a Systems Analyst at their JetBlue University training center. An avid waterman, Nick loves the ocean and spends most of his free time surfing.

Saurabh joined MINT in December 2021 as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and brings 15 years of strong information security governance & risk management expertise. In his previous role as a Managing Consultant and Privacy Officer at NetSPI, he bootstrapped security consulting practice in India, and lead the internal security and privacy initiative. Over the years, he has helped clients improve their security posture and reduce risks. When free, he spends time with his family. He also loves to travel and read.

Beate is responsible for accounting and finances at MINT and coordinates everything that has to do with numbers. She plays a central role within the team, our customers as well as our sales and management team can rely on her unfailing finance management and organization skills.

Sebastian joined MINT in 2003 as an apprentice and has been part of MINT ever since. Today, he is one of our most experienced senior software engineers, with extensive knowledge of the software, and is in charge of our Development Team. In his free time, Sebastian is the singer and guitarist of a rock band, well-known for their inspiring performances at the famous “Kieler Woche” sailing event.

Giancarlo joined MINT in 2016 and has worked in various roles including project management, business development, and marketing. Through his time as project and account manager at MINT, he has gained valuable experience performing software implementations and serving the needs of our clients. As Head of Sales, he partners with companies interested in MINT TMS and serves as a trusted advisor, identifying business requirements and proposing solutions. His experience working at JetBlue Airways as an operational crew member and then MINT TMS user in their learning department makes him a valuable asset to our team.

Amelie joined MINT in December 2021 as our Head of Talent Manager and is located in our headquarters in Kiel, Germany. Before she joined our MINT family, she was working in HR in the aviation and logistics industry as an HR Business Partner and HR Learning & Development Specialist. At MINT she is our first contact person for HR-related topics and responsible for our recruiting and onboarding processes. Beyond that, she supports new team members with their visa processes and organizes fun team events. In her free time, Amelie loves spending time with her dog at the beach and does horseback riding.

Lenny joined MINT in August 2018 as an Operations Engineer and then accepted a position as the Head of IT Operations. Prior to joining the MINT Americas team, Lenny worked as the Director of Managed Services for a regional IT company, providing managed business solutions to a number of industry verticals. When Lenny is not staring at computer screens, he unplugs by playing guitar, spending time on the water and in Florida’s beautiful state parks.

Erich joined MINT as a Senior Software Engineer in June 2016. Since then, he has specialized in integrating the MINT software with other customer products (i.e. Sabre CMS) and transitioned to being one of our Software Architects. In his free time, Erich enjoy visiting medieval markets, watching movies, listening to music and being the father of almost two dozens of cats.

Bringing in nearly a decade of experience from MINT, Frank rejoined our team in December 2023 to drive our international sales efforts, focusing on EMEA and APAC regions. His extensive background in software sales and a well-established network within the aviation training industry make him a valuable asset to our company. Outside his home office in Lisbon, Portugal, Frank unwinds by sailing the Atlantic on his C-Yacht 777 whenever his family schedule permits.

Christoph holds a degree in business economics and has been working in the software industry for more than 20 years. Joining MINT in 2015, Christoph serves as a Customer Relationship Manager and our CSE Deputy Team Leader. His advisory focus is on business process reviews and streamlining workflows while implementing MINT TMS. He specializes in “translating” the FAA’s AQP program into IT systems. Christoph is a EU FCL and US PPL pilot with CRI endorsement. Outside of working in the software industry, flying is his great passion.

Klaus started his career in aviation in 1979 as a development engineer in the A300, A310 and A320 projects. In 1988 he joined the technical training department at Lufthansa where he became later responsible for the entire third-party engineering training. In 1995 he took over the position as Director Marketing, Sale and Customer Services at Lufthansa Technical Training, Inc. After a few years as Head of Product Management – Aviation Industry Solutions he is retired from Lufthansa Technical Training he is now supporting MINT in marketing and sales with focus on engineering training.

Ihsan joined MINT in August 2017 as a Customer Relationship Manager and holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and a master degree in Project Management. Before joining MINT, he worked for various IT companies managing many complex IT implementation projects. Ihsan is a huge sports fan and likes to spend time with his family.

Juan joined MINT in May 2018 as a Customer Relationship Manager and operates from our Kiel office. Juan holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Pontifical Xavierian University, in Colombia. Prior to joining MINT, Juan worked over four years at Avianca as a Flight Training Scheduling Analyst. In his free time, Juan enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, body combat, and dancing.

Marianne joined MINT in November 2019 as a Customer Relationship Manager and operates from our Orlando office. Prior to joining the MINT team, she worked in the Flight Operations Department at FedEx Express for twenty-three years. During that time, she was an Administrative Assistant, did Professional Instructor Recruitment and was the help desk when at-home computer-based training first launched. She also spent 13 years using MINT as a Senior Flight Training Scheduler as well as an Adviser. In 2017 she led the FedEx team when they migrated from MINT version 7 to 12. Her free time is spent visiting her daughter at college, spending time with her rescue pets, or enjoying an outdoor activity.

Hayley joined MINT in May 2021 as a Customer Relationship Manager and holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Prior to joining the MINT team, Hayley worked at various airlines in Canada and the UK including Air Canada for 3 years as an AQP Software Manager. In her role at Air Canada, she played an integral role in the development and implementation of the MINT Software System. In her free time, Hayley enjoys spending time with friends and family, travelling, watching sports, and playing guitar.
